Travel to Ibiza by Car
Renting a car on the island is easy and affordable, and is a great way to ensure that you’ll see all that Ibiza has to offer. Due to high demand in the peak season, it is best to book early to ensure there is a car available.
There are many options and companies that provide car hire, with the choice to go with major international brands or small local suppliers. If you are intending to use a car for the entirety of your stay, it is recommended you pick up your car directly from the airport. To hire a car, you need an international driver’s licence and be at least 21 years of age.

– Finally, at the last roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Carrer de Cala Tarida.
Travel to Ibiza by Air
The island of Ibiza lies just off of the coast of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. From most European airports, the flight will takes two to three hours, with direct flights available during the summer season. In winter some airlines may not offer direct flights, but you can still reach the island by first stopping through other cities like Barcelona or Madrid.
Travel to Ibiza by Bus
The island has a regular and extensive bus service that can take you to the majority of towns and villages. Between all major resorts there are half-hour connections, as well as regular services to all the main beaches.
During the peak period, the buses tend to run from 7am until 10pm. However, if you want to stay out later, you can catch the ‘disco’ bus which runs from midnight to 6am, stopping at major resorts and clubs.
The travel is comfortable thanks to the large, air-conditioned vehicles and generally short travel times. During the winter however, be aware that the bus schedule is dramatically reduced, making it fairly difficult to reach some destinations.
The only buses that run to the area around our check-in office are those that come out of San Antonio or Eiviissa. To reach San Antonio you should take Bus route number 9.
